Ember Job Alerts - SMS Consent
Ember Job Alerts is Ember Hiring's own text messaging program. Ember is the registered brand and the sender of record for every message in it, and all of its messages are sent by Ember in its own name. This page explains how opting in works and shows the exact consent language. The full program terms are in Part A of Ember's SMS Messaging Terms.
How clinicians opt in
A clinician joins Ember Job Alerts only by submitting Ember's own enrollment form, where the consent language below is presented next to a checkbox that starts unchecked. Opting in is optional, and consent is not a condition of applying for or receiving any job, employment opportunity, or staffing service. There is no way to join by text message, and Ember does not buy, rent, or import phone numbers or consent from anyone else.
Ember keeps a record of each opt-in, including the date and time, the clinician's name, phone number and email if given, and the page and consent language presented.
The consent language
Next to the checkbox the clinician sees the following, with the name of the agency offering the assignments in place of [Agency]:
I agree to receive text messages from Ember Hiring about assignments matching my preferences, including assignments at [Agency], and to exchange texts with Ember's automated assistant, EmberBot, at the number I provide. Consent is not a condition of applying or of employment. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. See Ember's SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.

Not the same as an agency's Ember Agent program
Ember also operates a separate Ember Agent texting program for each staffing agency it works with, on that agency's behalf. Those are the agency's own programs, not Ember Job Alerts: consent for them is given to the agency on its enrollment page at emberhiring.com/enroll/[agency], the messages come from numbers registered under the agency's own brand, and each program has its own terms at emberhiring.com/sms/[agency]. They are described in Part B of Ember's SMS Messaging Terms. Opting in to one program never enrolls a clinician in another, and opting out of one does not affect the others.
How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message from Ember to unsubscribe. You may also reply STOPALL, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, OPTOUT, or REVOKE. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed. To get help, reply HELP or INFO, or contact us at hello@emberhiring.com.
